"At the peak of tremendous and victorious effort, while the blood is pounding in your head, all suddenly comes quiet within you. Everything seems clearer and whiter than ever before, as if great spotlights had been turned on. At that moment, you have the conviction that you contain all the power in the world, that you are capable of everything, that you have wings. There is no more precise moment in life than this, the WHITE MOMENT, and you will work hard for years, just to taste it again."

Detrained through & through
I had a relatively easy week back to training after a little over 6 weeks off. By Thursday my legs were pretty tired even though the week's training wasn't very difficult. On Saturday I had an hour base run, & I was tired the tail end of it! After only an hour! An hour run was a short & easy day of training before I took my 6 weeks off. Looks like it's going to be awhile before I get my endurance & speed back.

It won't take long to return. Muscle memory and all that. Good luck with your 'comeback'. Sorry, couldn't get inspired/gripped (no pun intended) by the wrestling posts :)haha. Look forward to you getting back into triathlons :)
You got this, Coach! @mike is right, muscle memory is still there. You just haven't used it in a little while. W/ the way you work out, you will be back before Jingle Bell, no problem. I'll be praying!
